Going to be rough, we have very little depth at center. Going to have to rely on young guys like Josefson and Henrique to step up earlier than expected. Our number 2 center (Elias) is really a winger, so our top line center is playing out of position. Not good.

That's too bad, Nasty. Zajac is a beast, and always seems to kill Pittsburgh.

Maybe the east will luck out and not have to face Sid at the beginning of the season.... Gawd, I hope not

Bad news for the Devils for sure and sorry to hear this.

I have been out of the loop for a bit so whats the deal with Kesler puck?

Also things seem pretty quiet when it comes to Crosby's status, is it possible this is more serious than originally thought? I hope it's not another Lindros situation.

after holding Toews to 1G 3A in the Chi series, and being an absolute monster in the Nashville series (was in on something like 11 of the team's 14 goals), he blasted out his hip/labrum in the SJ series.
Came back later in that game, but was never the same force after that. Played in the finals basically on one leg, and it showed.

He had surgery this summer, is out until probably November

Actually, doing plyo's could probably cause that...actually wouldn't be too tough. Plyo's are supposed to be fast, quick, explosive. Just the way to pop your achilles.
