1. We start with the beginning of the practice, when newly promoted offensive coordinator Hue Jackson loudly shouted "I love this day!" as players wrapped up stretching. Why is that worth mentioning? Because it was only the first of many things Jackson could be heard shouting all during the workout. He has been known league-wide for his energetic and intense style of coaching. Cincinnati's noticeably faster practice tempo certainly was a credit to him. Very seldom did he stay in one spot. He rotated regularly between the different position groups, and could be heard when he moved.

Man...do we need intensity on this team since Zimmer is gone. I just hope he doesn't turn into "predictable" Hue Jackson when play calling begins.

Also, are we going to end up with a fucking bonifide fullback?

"Also of note in the backfield: on a high percentage of snaps, it seemed a fullback or H-back was also lined up behind quarterback Andy Dalton. Don't be surprised if you see the fullback make a comeback this season, folks."

considering our concern for Whit getting older and lack of dept at tackle, maybe.

Talk to my wife, a die hard Raiders fan, about 'the energy' Jackson brings to a team.

Thanks for not calling it a "shuffle" pass. That really chaps my ass.

How about when the call an "end around" a reverse...or an actual reverse a "double reverse".

People who have played the game for years still get these wrong. A QB handing the ball off to a WR coming around is an END AROUND, not a reverse. A reverse requires a player to first take the ball in direction A before handing it off to another player and taking it in direction B...
