They've retained a couple players by extending them. Basically pushing more guarenteed money down the road that WILL come due. It's guarenteed.

But the few really special Eagle fans think Howie is a genius.

Howie is doing what he needs to do to try and keep there core group together, but the restructuring will catch up to them down the road unless players finish out contracts.
