He just turned down $5M from the Browns, good luck with that.

Hard to feel any sympathy for the guy after he turned down multiple offers and the season is about to begin.

Intrasting spot

Get's a one year deal to prove he can still play, gets a HOF QB to help him show he can still play, gets a coach who has no issues dealing with diva's, and it's close enough to home that he can still get the family out there easily.

For the Saints they get a non-guaranteed contract, a chance for Sean to screw with Jerry again (take an almost free money Dez and win a game with him), and they get a big bodied WR who if nothing else draws a big bodied defender or else Drew lasers the back shoulder all day, and a motivated Dez. And if he sucks they cut him with nothing lost but a few min wage game checks.

Oh yeah, and Nov 29th instantly sells out.

Clock running on my prediction now.

Coleman just signed with Pats, so that should take them out of the market for an unguaranteed Dez contract.

Yeah....he is a complete buffoon to turn down any deal. He is a veteran and if he is on the game 1 roster he salary is guaranteed. Now if he is signed he can be cut at any time without any money due to him.

Coleman signed with the Pats. He has horrible hands & neither the Browns or Bills wanted him. Still the Pats took him over Dez.

Dez might want to realize he isnt as important to GMs as he thinks.

Mediocre skills not being worth the media hassle that comes with the player. At least in this case it isn't being claimed as a race issue.

Yeah I see this as similar to the Kaep situation in that teams feel he's just not good enough to put up with his crap. I know he had interest in Washington but they have no interest in this asshole. He made his bed, should have taken the offer that was available, but he overplayed his hand. LOL that he's happy to wait for the right situation. Good luck with that Dez.

Dunno, Saints don't need offensive weapons, Brees can pretty much put the ball anywhere. The defense on the other hand ...
