You can never judge a player after the first game or even the first year, but the first time I saw him on the field last year my gut was telling me major bust.

If you are built like BY, you need to throw good balls and play extremely smart. He aint no Brees or Murray. Panthers continue to be the worst org in the league.

I'd have to start looking at the FO. Their OL has 3 2nd round picks (two drafted in the top 10 of the 2nd - so basically 1st rounders), a 3rd round pick, and almost a top 5 LT... Jesus H... if you can't get that to work you need to seriously re-haul your scouting department or offensive line coach..

Whatever. When they signed Damien Lewis (Seahawk last year) to that ridiculous contract, I knew that FO had lost it's fuckin' mind. Damien Lewis deserved like a 1 year $5M prove it deal, and Carolina paid him like he was an above average guard. Insanity.

To the point of your post... yes, God forbid Dalton is decapitated behind that line because then we'll have to do a candlelight vigil every week for the next year (on behalf of Dalton) for chaney.

The only offensive player I like on their roster (healthy) is Legette and he is a rookie. He will never reach his potential with Young. I do like Brooks but the OL is so bad. They have a promising OT but all the other guys are below average. The defense is absolute trash other than some young DB’s and Thompson. What a dumpster fire. Not even a soul-less ginger can help this team
