he is an extremely overrated coach imo. he runs a defense that is outdated. he refused to adjust. sure the cover 2 works great against average to bad qbs but look what happened when his team faced above average qbs the last 5 seasons? they got torched. the only thing ill credit lovie with is how he preached forcing turnovers. he also has the worst challenge percentage in nfl history. do u remember his decision in the playoffs during the super bowl season? he called a timeout that gave seattle a chance to kick a game winning fg. it would have never been kicked if he wasn't an idiot?

Lovie Smiths defense is not outdated and it is very good against any QB, you just have to execute it.

it is completely outdated. it is basically a better version of a prevent defense. sit back and wait for the other team to make a mistake. their r huge holes in the middle of the field and between the corner and safety between the hash and the sidelines. good qbs have picked it apart for yrs
