Teams were ranked based on the fewest losses against BCS teams - all teams played a similar amount of games against BCS teams.

Ranking

1: Ohio State
2: Michigan st.
3: Wisconsin
4: Penn State
5: Michigan and Nebraska (bowl games could separate these two teams)

Iowa, Northwestern and MN

The embarrassing group: IL, IN, Purdue

Ohio State - won 24 straight with no meaningful hardware.

2011: Record against BCS teams: 4-7
2012: Record against BCS teams: 10-0
2013: Record against BCS teams: 9-1

Total record: 23-8

2011: Record against BCS teams with a winning record (6-6 or 7-6 or greater): 2-7
2012: Record against BCS teams with a winning record (6-6 or 7-6 or greater): 5-0
2013: Record against BCS teams with a winning record (6-6 or 7-6 or greater): 4-1

Now that is a stat I did not know.

Yep, I didn't realize it either. I knew they lost to most teams that were any good in the regular season. I doubt many people anywhere realize that stat.
