I don't blame the refs as they're supposed to be able to rely on the technology. Once again though VAR allows for zero common sense. Can't understand why they don't intervene on this one.

I'm not blaming him as he was told "no" buy technology but jesus fing christ that was one of the worst NON goal calls I've ever seen. What's the point of having that technology? Also as you mentioned VAR SHOULD have stepped in, period! Wish I was in the room for that one as why they didn't

sorry, not a soccer fan but trying to understand what happened here? it looks like a goal to me. so, they reviewed it on the cameras and still said it wasn't a goal? i don't know if they have instant replay or not in soccer.

There is goal line technology that "goes off" when the ball crosses the line and indicates a goal has happened... The technology didn't say it crossed (ref has a camera on his watch) and VAR (instant replay) did not decide to take a closer look at it.
Total F up on technology and the VAR official, not the official on the pitch as he was a little out of place to see it but it was an obvious goal that was missed
