Redraft:
1. Kyler Murray
2. Nick Bosa
3. DK Metcalf
4. Rashan Gary
5. Deebo
6. Brian Burns
7. AJ Brown
8. Terry McLaurin
9. Maxx Crosby
10. TJ Hockinson
Not terrible. Explains why the NFC West has been good lately.

I'd argue the Packers have been drafting so well that the other teams in the league have copied and adjusted some of their tendencies. If Rashan Gary busts, I'm not sure Travon Walker goes #1, for example. Packers had to trade up in the draft because WRs probably aren't going to drop like they used to.Packers did well with their first 3 picks
- 1st round Rashan Gary
- 1st round Darnell Savage
- 2nd round Elton Jenkins
and after that nothing.... Keke was decent mid round pick but then there were some issues (non-performance related) and Packers released him.
On a redraft I would probably have Jenkins at bottom of the list and also find a spot for Devin White. Jenkins can be a left tackle in the league and excel at it... problem in GB he has Bakhtiari there.
I don't understand the Jacobs. He is a good Reliable back
New coaching staff wants his guys, so first thing they do is dump the former coach players. Pretty simple actually.I don't understand the Jacobs. He is a good Reliable back
Jacobs might be breaking down, too. Raiders probably using him up and then trading him in for a younger modelNew coaching staff wants his guys, so first thing they do is dump the former coach players. Pretty simple actually.
Could be, but only played 3 seasons, only 24 and only carried the ball 217 times vs someone like Jonathon Taylor 332 last season, has played 15 games each of last two seasons. So I'm going with my theory.Jacobs might be breaking down, too. Raiders probably using him up and then trading him in for a younger model

Fournette is making 8.5 next season, Edwards and Penny really aren't on the same tier (be it injuries or talent) as Jacobs. I'm going with my theory.....it's more about the 5th year option value.
They would have been well over $8M next season for Jacobs. That's just too much for a RB like Jacobs.
The comparables:
Fornette essentially just signs a 2 year $14M contract this offseason.
Chase Edwards 1 year $6M.
Rashad Penny 1 year $5.75M.
Why guarantee over $8M to Jacobs now when you almost assuredly can have him for that exact amount next year anyways even if he has a good season? No reason to pick it up. He could be a pro bowler and he isn't topping that $8M number in year 1 of his next contract unless he looks like Derrick Henry next year (not happening).
I don't know how to solve the economic issues around RB's......but there is a position that is getting absolutely screwed compared to nearly every other position. And Jacobs not having his option picked up is just as much having to do with that fact than anything.

I dont know why but I was always under the assumption Jacobs was always playing hurt. I had him in Fantasy last year, got him at great value, and was often starting him somewhat reluctantly.
