PS Nebraska’s delay of game penalty to honor Foltz is one of the greatest shows of humanity I’ve seen on the football field. It’s a “missing man” formation for civilians.

Kickers and punters aren’t even football players. They are soccer players who step onto the field maybe 5 times a game. If you think about it, kicking is comparative to if in baseball you played rock paper scissors to determine if you get half a run after crossing the plate.

Once went to a practice during spring football where everyone is practicing meanwhile the special teams is having a glorified pass, punt, and kick contest on the next field. Trying to see who can kick the ball into a garbage can, and of course taking a knee and getting much deserved water.
