Yeah, I heard that he hurt his toe on quick pitch. I bet it's pretty hard to squat with a broken big toe. That would probably kill until you healed up.

It was not expected, but it was nice. I hope you've been less stressful the last two nights.

Me too. Missed the rest of the game but got my miracle I was hoping for. Lets keep the train rolling down the tracks. Nice job by Blackley by the way. Did see his 4 innings.

Just noticed that we face five left-handed starters in our next five games. That seems quite unusual, particularly given that we recently faced three lefty starters over a four game stretch. Looking at the team lefty/righty batting splits, however, there isn't a lot of difference. Our AVG and OBP are slightly higher against lefties that against righties, but our slugging percentage is slightly reversed. Anyway, I figure we should see a good bit of Baker and Gentry over the next week.

That was an exciting come back by the M's over the A's last night. Pretty uncharacteristic to see both Dolittle and Cook come unglued.

I had benched Franklin too (along with Puig when I heard he was out). I got killed last night, but my bench was awesome :L

LOL I guess I'll come clean and admit that part of my motivation for staying up to watch that game is that Cespedes has been on my fantasy team all year. Having drafted him was far less astute than you having picked up Franklin.

no way
Fuck LoneStarBall by the way

they’ve caught about every break while playing at their CEILING, their very expensive payroll CEILING, and have a 1 game lead on the OAKLAND A’s, who are playing at their worst, and can’t catch a break……

Will make it all the better when we crush them again in September

Lolololol that guy is maaaaad.

:dhd:

Yeah, that's why Texas owns the series 8-5

How in the world do the Astro's have 2 Young catchers who throw like Pudge?? Dang it.

Rangers not so good. Hoping off season brings youth and strong arm in through Free agency.

Watched the condensed. Adrian Beltre Texas Ranger 3rd baseman and Designated Hitter is one of the few in baseball giving Miguel Cabrera a run for the money. HOF lock. Batting average going up, stolen base(s) going up, lol, changing his team's chances. Man it is a privilege to see his at bats and his professionalism. Personally I think he his having more trouble with his hamstrings, because one bat speed was 95. That just adds to the legend of future hall of famer Adrian Beltre. Like an injured Emmitt Smith taking the game over against the Giants, Adrian Beltre is stepping forward and sticking his neck out because his team needs him. Love Nelson Cruz, but it will be Beltre leading his team in BA, HR! & RBI this season. It will say a lot when he ignores the praise when he passes Cruz, and locks in on the next game, the next pitch, and the next at bat.
