Then they'd have to deal Seager.
Not necessarily. But they have been linked to possibly wanting him and they have money so you never know

He’s gonna want to get more than Harper.
I don’t think Boston pays that.
Somewhere, Clint Frazier mutters "What the F*ck?"
They should. Crippling the Sandbaggers, err...I mean the Red Sox, financially should be job 1 for the new GM.

He's my favorite player that has never been a Brave. I know he's not who he used to be, but I'd love to have him.
Yeah, I have no idea what the Yankees will do this year. They had like 20 guys that had really good partial seasons offensively. Now they have a lot of guys who if they were with other teams would be starters this year, but the Yankees have so much talent I don't see how a lot of them will have a chance unless they have a million injuries again this year.yeah I don't get it. Gardner had a nice offensive year and has had a great career with the Yanks, but his power surge feels like a product of the great home run barrage of 2019. especially when his 2019 ISO (.253) is more than 100 points above his career average (.141) and he's only had an ISO above the league average twice (other time was 2014).

Like if Cliint Frazier had that season with some other team people would be penciling them in as a starter this year. Mike Ford looks like he would make a great DH for some team but the Yankees seem to have a bunch of 1b/DH types already. Miguel Andujar was supposed to be the 3b in 2019 but he ended up getting injured and Urshela ended up having a good season. So who plays in 2020. Stanton and Judge are there for a while but there's also Aaron Hicks.
This post is already getting into tldr territory so I'll wrap it up, but it seems like they have a lot of players that are good enough to be in the majors and of the age that they normally would be in the majors and not enough roster spots. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Hopefully he can find a second wind, but even if not, he’s better than anyone we have not named Soroka as is.I wonder how much he has left in the tank.

Wonder when we see our first free agent signing this year. Hope we don't have a repeat of last year when we had top players waiting until March to be signed.
