Yeah they would have to strengthen that first offer but I love Clevinger. I think he could be a top SP for years to come. The Dodgers don't need to worry about money...just throw in Kluber and keep Clevinger lol. But I will say I'm sure Clevinger's salary will be getting up there in the next couple years...it all goes back to money. I think they will still try to trade Kluber in a separate deal
Oh I do, too, but pitching is a wealth that we don't have to be concerned with, especially since we'd be getting May in return. Even if we traded Clevinger and Kluber this offseason, we'd still have a stellar staff next year. Getting Lux and Verdugo would be amazing in setting ourselves up for the future at two positions of need.

The Red Sox will not keep Mookie Betts and see him walk away next year. They'll be trading him for pennies on the dollar if they have to. Boras says he 'could' sign with RS but he turned down $300M last year with two years to go on his rookie contract.

Who do you guys think will be willing to take him?

As a Mets fan, can you offer a bit of history? What happened?

He was rehabbing after surgery to remove bone spurs last season and while rehabbing at his ranch he fractured his ankle, I'm thinking it was investigated and determined he was doing something his contract prohibited (most think it was horseback riding). So it looks like they probably had a chance to void the contract and instead renegotiated.

For that price, numerous teams should’ve been, like the dumbass White Sox front office.

The Twins too. They spoon fed us this bill of goods that they're going to strike while the iron is hot, but they have yet to do that with a pitcher.
