Its being reported that Amerson is possibly being moved to FS, as such, Thurmond would be a starter for us. Makes sense as no Safeties have been contacted outside of Ryan Clark. Thurmond is in town tomorrow.

Oher graded out higher than Polumbus and is more athletic and younger.

Jordan can be had at a bargin and would start at ILB cheaply. He has interest in signing here as well.

Britt would be a solid pickup and would help address a terrible WR corps. that is signing 35 year olds to play.

I would like to add another corner, preferably Thurman. The thought of Amerson at S is intriguing. Many thought that was his more natural position and fit his skillset better when he was going into the draft.

If they try and convert Amerson to Safety, he has got to improve his tackling because its not great. He isn't a wrap up tackler, but more of a take the legs out. You can't do that at safety. If this is their goal, it should be a gradual migration, putting him back there occasionally this year to see how he does.

No, just speculating Dean. Amerson has the size, ability, and ball skills to be a very good center fielding free ranging free safety. He would have to improve his tackling ability, but that can be fixed with coaching. A lot of guys, especially CBs throw themselves at ball carriers coming out if college. Hell, Merriweagher still does it. I haven't seen anything in writing to indicate this move is coming, we're just talking about it.

And Swearinger is a SS... Different position and responsibilities.
