As a Hawks fan. Hate to see that. Would be devastated if that was a Seahawks player so understand how everyone feels.

When the stretcher comes out I always cringe. Here's to a speedy recovery (hopefully there is none).

The angle he got hit at looks bad. Head was looking up, gets hit towards the forehead, results in the back of his neck jamming. Those can either be some nasty stingers or some serious injuries. Hope it's the former and his recovery goes well.

They said on the broadcast that it was a cervical spine injury, and that he is able to move his extremities

Very scary, hope he is okay. Always hate to see any king of neck/back injuries.

By all means, a speedy recovery for your player.
Injuries suck.

I do not usually post on other teams boards, but as a person who has family member paralyzed from a spinal injury, I had to come and see if there was anything on him today. I was a big fan of Wolfe in Cinn and wanted the Pats to draft him. Hope everything is good and he is fine....looking forward to seeing him on the field vs NE this yr!! Hoping all is well Den fans!!

Jeff Legwold of ESPN said that the Broncos expect him to open the season against the Ravens

Man....that is great, great news. I saw that on replay and my stomach dropped. I'm glad to hear it sounds like he's gonna be ok cause we really are going to need him this year, but more importantly I'm just glad for his health.:cloud9:

Fox yesterday even said that he is healing faster than they thought he would. Sounds like the same for Champ as he has been listed day to day. As long as both are ready for week 1 I don't care if they don't practice again all preseason.

Champ yes, Wolfe I would like to see get the reps in practice, just could care less to see him in any preseason games. Plus, both being out gives us a chance to see more of the young CB's and Malik Jackson.

100% agree. Maybe get Wolfe back in there the last week of practice, but for Champ.....let him sit to make sure that foot heals all the way before week 1. He knows his position as well as any out there, so he can sacrifice the reps in favor of his health.
