Let me start out by writing that the NFL is not high School, nor is it college, where homecoming games are intended to boost school morale, offer the home team a chance to sharpen their skills, and, get a relatively easy win. Stuff like this is just not done at the professional level. Why? because it is insulting at that level. It says to the incoming team that you're here to give us exactly that which is intended at the developmental levels. By right, this could be a winnable game for ole' DC, but, let's not be surprised if at games end, during the interview process, a player on the winning Titans team states that the whole homecoming game designation, made their team more determined than usual to ruin the day!!
