He want to coach any team. What guy is gonna say they don't want a big fat head coaching paycheck. That being said, keep him away from the Devs.

I haveixed feeling on Hitchcock on one hand coaches like him have worked well for us. On the other hand I don't think I want him anywhere near our young kids

I kinda agree. He didn't do much with Columbus and all that youth plus he didn't mesh with that kid filtaov. Since this team is going towards a youth movement I dont know why nolan isn't mentioned more. Took the isles and their youth to the playoffs. Heck Scott Gordon wouldn't be bad

I still really believe it's going to be Robinson. I used to want Hitchcock, now not so much. I want a younger coach that can still hold players accountable. Let's face it this could very well decide if we win the cup in the next year or 2. We have the players for it now we need the system.

I don't see Larry ever being a head coach again after what happened in 2006. He's smart enough and qualified enough to be a head coach though. I don't know anything about salaries but I'm willing to be that the Devils pay him generously for an assistant coach.

Couldn't agree more. Most guys I don't have a strong opinion about one way or another, but Hitchcock is a guy I do not want anywhere near this team.

Well ill be real, if Hitchcock wanted to coach this team and Lou wanted him I think he'd have signed by now, he's been home from the worlds for a while now and I'm sure by this point Lou is looking.

Obviously I could be wrong, but I think if he were the one it'd have happened by now
