The Shark board said I'd like him, and they weren't lying.:clap2:

Good (underrated) player and a good dude too. Always tried his hardest and was a true competitor. Not a bad puck moving defenseman and if he were 3" taller and 30lbs heavier, would be a top 20 defenseman.

I wish him well.....just not in the playoffs :D

He looks even smarter since Eric$$on is playing almost 2/3 of what his contract says he's worth...:high5:

4-5 games, I think I heard?

Bummer that he'll miss the game against SJ on Thursday but he did look pretty bad against them a couple weeks ago in Detroit.

Saw him take the puck in the face live against Dallas and cringed. Ugh.

Hope he recovers fully. I was one of the Sharks fans who hated to see him go and like filo wrote, wish him nothing but the best with Detroit (just not against SJ).

Note to self: if I have a son, do not name him Ian. They have a tendency to take shots to the face.

The thing I like most about him is that he caught on real quick. If all else fails, pass it to Nick!....Hell, pass it to Nick right away!

Woulda liked to keep him. Maybe Burns can take a puck to the face that will knock off that horrendous moustache.

love ian.

i had initially thought he took a stick.

come to find out he took a puck in the face to save a goal.

did a little bit of digging around and found out that in the past he took a boomerang in the face to save a bunch of aboriginee kids from being eaten by a pack of wild dingos.

and that's not even the craziest. i read that he once took a meteor to the face the save the world from complete and utter implosion and to save the human race from extinction.

i'd say ken holland hit a home run with this one.
