Dennis Schroder.

This guy worked wonders as Paul's sixth man their one season together in OKC.

They way things have played out, Dallas could prove to be a greater threat to the Warriors than Phoenix would have been, that reason being that Paul isn't much a scoring threat anymore and thus would not have made Curry work on the defensive end.

The Mavs, with Brunson, Dinwiddie, and Luka, have been able to create more organized chaos with their backcourt and thus have more potential to frustrate Curry and GS on that end of the floor.

Time will tell, but these two teams faced each other only one other time in the postseason, and that was 2007. The most embarrassing loss in Mavs franchise history as their 67-win season was erased in six quick games by their former coach Don Nelson.

Revenge should be on the mind in big D...

Really!?
Since when is he good for 40 points that the Suns would have needed to compete in that game 7?
Well, back in 2018 on March 20th vs the Jazz he scored a career-high 41 points.....LOL.

2 more years on that deal, but reasonable money. If they want to move him, they can IMO. Did he have that bad of a year? He came up big last year.

He had a good season for a backup but once the playoffs rolled around, he was a NO SHOW. Monty started having Shamet as the first guard off the bench.

Somebody will pay Schroder more than they should.
I don't think so. This dude's got MLE written all over him. And even that's likely being generous.

Holy shit. I completely forgot that Chris Paul played for OKC. He's changed teams more than LeBron.

Many players have. Lebron has changed teams only 3 times and once was to go back to his first team, only played for 3 teams.

In fairness to Chris Paul I don't think OKC would have been his first choice the year he got traded there.

Pretty sure Phoenix wouldn’t have been either

OKC is rarely anybody’s first choice.

No not the top but people forget that he had played in OKC with New Orleans and was always complimentary of the city.

Haven't forgotten about that, just pointing out is wasn't entirely ideal for him to go from the 65-win Rockets to a team that just traded Westbrook and George.
