Only two players hit 30+ HRs in 15+ seasons. Hank and who else?

No fair looking it up

It is a shame that he played on team that wasn't very good other than him for most of his career. Had he been a Yankee and seen the post season more often and been in front of the big lights more often, he likely would be considered the best player other than Ruth to ever play the game.
I feel like over time, we might see that being the case of Aaron being ranked #2 overall. I'm not sure winning would've helped his legacy more. Stan Musial won a lot and I feel like only recently has he gotten bumped into baseball's top tier (only 93.2% of first ballot HOF votes...who are these guys voting on this?)

I'd be okay with the argument that Aaron is the 2nd best baseball player ever, though. Truly an all-time great.

16 seasons in the top 10 in the NL in WAR in a 17 year span. Pretty amazing. His 1970, 1972 and 1973 seasons aren't shabby either. 161 OPS+ in his 30's. Just an amazing ballplayer for a long, long time.

RIP Hammerin' Hank.

Per MLB Network, Henry Aaron has just passed away at age 86.
The bad news keeps coming........
He had a great career, a long life and will be remembered for decades to come and While Barry Steroids Bond broke his record courtesy of drugs,. Henry Arron is still the home run king

It is ironic that he was known as the Home Run King when he really was just an overall fantastic hitter that wasnt your classic all or nothing power hitter.

For every HR he hit, he struck out 1.83 times.

For comparison:
Bonds - 2.01
Ruth - 1.86
Arod - 3.28
Pujos - 1.97

Compared to 2019 Home run leaders
Alonso - 3.45
Suarez - 3.85
Soler - 3.70
Bellinger - 3.65
Trout - 2.66

It is a shame that he played on team that wasn't very good other than him for most of his career. Had he been a Yankee and seen the post season more often and been in front of the big lights more often, he likely would be considered the best player other than Ruth to ever play the game.
Bond was a drug addict, his record should be removed from discussion

God damn.

I know it's the minority opinion, but I believe he was the best player this game has ever seen.

Carried himself so well. Sad day for baseball.
So, Rusty Staub doesn't come close?

Bonds was probably the better player but I'd take Aaron as well because he is a leader and a team player
