I love the original, the sequel was a decent continuation, and the 3rd was kinda campy fun. After that the franchise descended into straight-to-video schlock with several of the movies being finished detective noir scripts with Hellraiser lore added into them. I recall a couple are just ok but most of the remaining 7 films are largely just bad. So it seems a good candidate for a reboot.

I have low but hopeful expectations. The trailer looks pretty decent fxs-wise. Hopefully there is a decent script and some solid direction.
