Neil was amazing in this game. I love that guy.

Some of the young Sens showed soem nice skill tonight too. DaCosta, Regin, Rundblad and of course Karlsson were pretty exciting to watch as a Sens fan.

How did Heatler play? I know that when the Sharks played in Ottawa last year it was one of the best games he played while here.

That was one of the problems with Danny Boy, when motivated he played at a very high level; unfortunately, he didn't choose to play motivated very often.

That was one of the best games Neil has ever played and I'm not really surprised. I remember Neil being the most vocal about the whole Heatley thing and he was pissed to say the least. He didn't get to play against the Sharks when Heatley first returned to SBP but this time he showed no mercy.

The Good:

- Neil...just explained it

- Rundblad was awesome. He showed more poise with the puck then anyone else on defense and made a ton of good outlet passes.

- Regin was really good I thought. He worked hard and set up a lot of good chances

- Karlsson had a near flawless game. He seemed to be everywhere all night

- Foligno had a good game and hopefully that helps him build some confidence because he really struggled up until this game

- Da Costa showed some flashes in the first period. He seemed to fade after that but he was impressive in that first period

- Gotta give props to a guy that I said shouldn't be in the league anymore. Kuba was much better in this game. He seemed to get back to his old form.

The Bad:

- Gonchar: I'm growing tired of his game and quickly. He floats around too much and he seems to have quit already. I don't think he should be booed on home ice but he needs to get his act together.

- Spezza was good at times but a couple of his turnovers were just brutal. One of them led to a 2-0 against Anderson. He needs to keep his game more simple in his own zone. Otherwise he was just okay.

Something to Note:

- I'm starting to see some cracks in Zibanejad's game. He treats the puck like a hot potato and just seems to be a little overwhelmed. These are things that can be corrected in time luckily but he should really go back to the SEL to do that (Good call on that one Kenny). He could go ahead and play now, but it may mess up his development and his offensive game may never come to fruition. This will also give Filatov or Butler the chance to slide back into the lineup.

Also I noticed that Seto scored again. I hope he does well, he was the hardest part of that trade to give up.

I was pissed when I saw what White signed for in Detroit. I could have cared less if he took that discount in Florida. Ken Holland is a jerk.
