"Sure, the Cowboys have had starters miss time with injuries. Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, Tyron Smith, La'el Collins, DeMarcus Lawrence, Tyrone Crawford, Morris Claiborne, Orlando Scandrick and Barry Church have missed at least two games each. But Collins is the only one who hasn't healed up. Everyone else is expected to play in Sunday's divisional-round game."

Looks like no Collins or Gregory, but everyone else is playing. Also Swaim - not a great player, but helped a lot in the running game IMO. Hope Mo looks healthy and maybe that Scandrick healed up a little more (he hasn't been himself). In the NFL that is about as healthy as you can get...knock on wood...:hope:

HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!

Bye week was huge. If I weren't so worried about Rodgers, I could honestly see Dallas blowing them out
Agree. I think we are a much better team, but Rodgers is the X-factor. Best player always gives a team a chance to win

Obviously won't play in the playoffs, but this made me smile:

I do not think Jaylon Smith will be the team’s best defensive player next season. I do think he will be in 2018. And yes, he’s going to be 100 percent when training camp rolls around, probably even before that, but the team will proceed with super-duper caution.

If you think about it ...it's the last thing you would want.

A top tier offensive line and running attack with an extra weeks rest.

He won't be playing, but Charles Tapper is now healthy...

Shame he was injured so early, I thought Tapper could have helped this year. One thing that always stood out to me watching Tapper's highlights was how hard this guy hits - he looks very strong. Looking forward to seeing what he can do next year.

2016 was the draft that keeps on giving. Like all of you, I am completely over the moon about the 2016 class - and I'm only talking about the guys who played this year. We're getting an early start on the 2017 class with Jaylon Smith and Charles Tapper! Now if only Dallas could have figured out a way to keep Darius Smith...

I don't remember watching him in particular much in College, but I was not at all impressed with him in the preseason and he got a lot of snaps in a game or two. Now of course it would be silly of me to judge him on that small sample size, so I'm not. just saying that's all I personally have to go on. It would almost be unfair if he was any good. Our draft class is already too good:thumb:

I refuse to judge a rookie based on 1 or 2 preseason games -- honestly I don't even remember seeing him play -- especially if he was possibly dealing with a back injury at that time.

But yea, we are definitely playing with house money at this point.

The 2016 draft would be even better if they pick 32nd in the 2017 draft...

Interesting. Reading some writers comments that Mo not expected to be full go. Any one hear anything out of Dallas? Starting or at least expected to play a big role?

If we can get by with him playing 50% of the D snaps, great. I doubt his conditioning will be to where he can play 95-100% of the snaps. Just having him out there is a plus.

Yes, I am really concerned about Tyron. I'd expect GB to put Mathews away from Tyron to help their Dline. But without Tyron in there, the advantage goes back to GB.

I think they are just saving the wear and tear on Tyron Smith for Sunday by holding him out of practice. He has been dealing with a lot of nagging stuff this season, and not that practice isn't useful, but I think Smith could use the rest more than the reps.

From day 1 since the injury the coaching staff has been very confident about Smith playing. They haven't really changed their tune at all, so I expect him to be ready to go on Sunday.

I'm hearing all this crap about Dak being a rookie...I have to think going into GB and winning by two TD's without Dez Bryant will give him plenty of confidence at home with a full deck

Not like Rodgers can't lose to a young QB either. Kaepernick won his first playoff start against Rodgers in a blowout. Kaep is actually 2-0 against Rodgers in the playoffs, but we are all supposed to fear Rodgers so much. No doubt Rodgers should be feared, but he ain't God.
