I'm glad eaglesnuts is around to define what is and isn't thuggish for us. I'm sure he was in the bar at the time and had first hand experience in the issue.

Wait. I understand now! Seahawk arrested = evil malicious thug. Eagle arrested = nothing to see here. A simple misunderstanding. Please disperse.

Eaglesnuts seems to be one of those trolls who does not understand factual discourse if it doesn't fit his agenda.

Even if Dunbar is innocent and it was just Deandre Baker, I just cannot comprehend how someone making $3m+ a year would risk that just to steal $70k in cash and jewelry. That is just so unbelievably stupid.

I wasn't talking about paperwork, I was talking about thuggery. Are you only playing dumb?

Mills went thuggery and got himself arrested. You can't dispute that. I'll wait for your spin session.

You have an odd definition then. I used the word and we'll use my definition. I already educated you that it was a simple fight where nothing happened. Nothing thug about that.

Ummmm......so your response is "It wasn't thuggish because I said so"?

Ok. You have proven a point, just not the point you were promoting.

That is all. You can troll elsewhere now.

If it was a simple fight no one would have been arrested. He was arrested cause he continued to fight like a thug instead of just walking away.

Well, another example of why we shouldn't jump to conclusions... Seems like he is going to be able to play after all///

First reports are almost always wrong. I am not 100% sure that is the case here, but there are conflicting versions of what actually took place. How I see this going down: the witnesses changing their stories is going to make it nearly impossible for any criminal charges to stick in a court of law where the burden of proof is difficult to achieve. However, I think there is still a chance that he'll get some sort of hit from the league for violating the conduct policy (burden of proof is not the same as in the judicial system). Without criminal charges (assuming they will be dropped) the NFL probably cannot go too hard after him, but I also can't see them sitting on it if it's more likely than not Dunbar was up to no good.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Dunbar’s lawyer is saying the victims gave him an affidavit but they haven’t recanted to the police yet have they?

yes you are correct and it was also stated that yes in fact these are the same witnesses that said it was him. i think they saw his car leaving the place right after that and assumed it was him because he didn't stick around for the cops. As a NFL player he made a bad decision to leave but i bet he was scared shitless to be involved in something like this knowing it could very well effect his employment. Bad publicity is or can be a career killer. Just look at Colin Kaepernick, sure he was not a great QB but he was dynamic but to much baggage comes with him.

Guess he wasn't about playing the victim card? i still do not know what happened and this all seems so strange because it's like a millionaire robbing a 7-11 when he has more money in his pocket than 7-11 has in their safe. It just makes zero sense meaning he is straight up innocent or flat out crazy. Didn't michael bennett get a few game suspension for what happened in a casino when he fled from police? Even though he was innocent?

If its true that Dunbar had nothing to do with it he should really evaluate the company he keeps around him and maybe unofficial gambling of cards where the stakes is around 100k isn't something you should be doing on his own time. If he doesn't see from this how Baker is about to lose everything he worked for he is an idiot. Especially being an undrafted player which makes him more expendable than anyone.

I'm sure here's how it will play out:

Dunbar was proven innocent and acquitted of all charges.
*NFL suspends him for 6 games*

:L

Jokes aside (although not really, could actually see above happen), it helps there's no video footage or anything of an arrest, domestic abuse, etc. Domestic abuse is the most ridiculous one. "She came at him shooting and wielding a Katana while swinging before he punched her unconscious. He's been arrested and the NFL has suspended him indefinitely."

Honestly after the Ezekiel Elliot case where he was never criminally charged the NFL conducted their own investigation and suspended him anyway. This makes me believe if you are anyone that is in trouble with the law the NFL will suspend you.

Either he was an accessory to a robbery or he wasn't. Hard to imagine that the NFL is going to suspend Dunbar if he isn't actually charged with anything.

Unlike domestic violence cases, the police don't need anyone to press charges. They just need evidence of the robbery.

Yeah, NFL acts like it's own judge and jury, even if no case goes forward or charges are filed, it's pretty stupid really....

That’s a very good secondary! I’m not confident with Norton and his strategic play calling, but if he screws that up, he’s gotta be replaced, and soon ...
