Have we just seen the end of the Broncos for a while?

Brady hasn't had the serious injuries Peyton has though... You can kinda see it's starting to take it's toll, especially down the stretch of this season...

plus Peyton has played for 3 more full seasons so 48 games times 40 passes looking at like 2000 throws, takes a toll

i don't think so. nothing against manning but team itself is pretty solid. they will compete with any decent qb under center.

Very true, Brady's big injury happened when he was around 29'(I believe) so his body could recover faster than Manning with 4 neck surgeries in his mid 30's. Plus Manning's injury affected his throwing more than Brady's did his and trying to recover from that major of an in jury late in your career isn't easy.

So much tension on your neck with every throw... I mean dam, most thought he would never play again after his neck problems... But he certainly proved everyone wrong... Something was clearly up though watching this game tonight... He never went down field with any velocity at all... Everything was wobbly and not much behind it...

I don't think we have seen the end of the Broncos. I see Peyton staying 1 more season and the Broncs winning their division again

I'd be shocked to see Manning not stay at least one more year to break the last of Farve's records. The only reason this should even be a thread was the outright non-committal nature of Manning's response to the latest iteration of the retirement question.

Me too. Once a stat whore, always a stat whore.

I hope he plays for 5 more years, I could watch those dying quails he throws float around NFL stadiums forever.

Did you hear how hard the fans were booing him? Why would he want to endure that ungrateful, abuse another year. Manning made the Broncos relevant again and they repay him by booing him off the field. Either they are truly ungrateful, or they are just brain dead from pulling too many tubes of the sticky.

I realize his arm strength is all but gone, but he didn't deserve that kind of abuse.

Hang it up Manning while you still have some dignity.

They were booing the shitty playcalling, it was obvious to all 70,000 people that Manning couldn't throw the ball deep but Gase still insisted on it so they had every right to boo. We also heard boos after every WR drop but no one mentions that.

I don't know about that.
