I bring this up because of Steve Austin tweeting this at a fan who complained about too many restholds in a match....



I just feel like today’s fans only care about 100 flips that have no story behind them and that’s not what wrestling is IMO.

Go watch WM13 Bret vs Austin, that’s WRESTLING,not Richochet out there today doing all these flips and all these false finishes.

People said the same crap about a good champ like diesel.

You expect diesel to do 450 splashes or some shit.

He fought like a giant.

And fans thought diesel/hbk was the match of the year in 95 over Bret diesel, so this kind of fan stupidity was still an issue 25 years ago.
