No not yet, They probably won't pick one until after the season.

As far as Todd Frazier right now he has a two year contract with the Mets. By the time he is available The Reds will already have a manager. Maybe down the road about 10 years.

Don't be afraid to come back and post here, We need all the posters we can get. There only about 5 of us that post here.

Why would you say Frazier would be a good choice? He is still an active player. That isn't even good laugh material.

I hear a lot of fans throw names into the hat. What they're basing it on I have no idea. It's obviously not managerial experience.

What qualifications or criteria is needed to find a good manager? For some people it seems to be as simple as finding Where's Waldo.

The manager (or as the ill-fed say, "head coach") is going to have zero impact on a roster full of players capable of winning 54 games. That isn't going to change with the dugout staff. That is about Rosell Herrera and Tony Cruz, who hit almost as well as Hamilton does. That would be, swing the bat and hope it lands on the outfield.
This team is fully FIFTY games worse than the Cubs, who will doubtless upgrade their roster this winter. The Reds will keep us informed about rehab starts in Pensacola.
