JJM is spot on with his comments above ^^^ Not so sure I would call playoffs the devil but once we make this major change, there is no going back. The bowls are not overly excited about this movement either gents... it will take away those special holidays where family's all over the country made plans for an event.

I am not saying something should not change... but this 4 team playoff will eventually turn into much more... 10 + years from now...

Do you guys have any idea how much it cost a family member of these student athletes to go see an away game... let alone adding playoff games?

CFB is turning professional before your very eyes...

I understand and even support the desire to crown a true champ... but I feel saddened that many traditions are going to be lost forever...

I'm telling you right now this thing is over and you said it yourself irule, Perlman needs to stfu. There will be a playoff and I'm damn glad. There's nothing Perlman can do about it.

He obviously is at the point where he's hoping that eventually he will be able to say "i told you so" if the playoff turns out to be awful.

But it won't be awful. It will be fucking AWESOME.

He really does need to just drop it, the rest of the conf. realized there was no way to beat out the SEC's demands, but now it's apparently NU vs the entire country. After a few more years of redundant games of SEC teams playing themselves for the title, and the ratings plummet, they can all reflect on their decision a bit better.
