Hartline??

I really don't get why they have an interest in him. Can anyone fill me in on this? Who do you move: LaFell, Amendola, Edelman, Dobson, Tyms, Boyce?? I mean I would rather them get a rookie than sign him Hartline. The only way this works, is if NE has a deal or a chance to deal Dola. Other than that, move on..NE only dresses 4 WR at the most per game.

Apparently NE is the front runner for Hartline....Something has to be up for this to happen. I think he would be good in this system, but no need for him with the guys we got already. IDK.

The Patriots don't need nor can they use a Hartline. Cobb, or Crabtree might interest them. Both can get downfield or catch a short pass and turn it into a TD. Look at the NE roster and the WR position is one of little interest to the Patriots right now.

Agreed. We have too many issues to worry about WR right now. Most of our wides could not get any plays last year. Unless its a stud - but we don't have any money!

Hell no, please don't sign him. The Patriots don't need about DA or Edelman. I don't get why there is so much put into one player who basically stinks against every team except when he plays the Patriots.

I don't think it's fair to compare Hartline to three unprovens, but he is an upgrade over Amendola as a receiver. But Amendola brings something to special teams, not sure about Hartline.

McCourty was obviously urgent, but I would expect much from the Pats in the FA market until the Revis situation is resolved.
