That happened to us last year in the 7 game series vs buffalo and i really think that effected us vs boston.

i dno.. either they wanna play 7 dmen tonight and have shelley be out, but i'm thinkign its more likely that one of the ones you have listed is injured, since manning was classified as an emergency call-up.. only way you can get that classification is if you dont have 12 healthy forwards and 6 healthy d-men

It would definitely be in our best interest to finish 6th for round 1, but then round 2 is tougher. Would we rather face Florida then New York instead of Pittsburgh then Boston? It will get extremely tough at some point no matter how you slice it. I say just get healthy, clinch a spot and get hot late (in that order). If that means we take 4th, 5th or even 7th instead of 6th, so be it. I'm fine with that. Either way, it is nice to be 9 points up on Winnipeg with two games in hand. We definitely don't want 8th.

I feel like we're most likely going to settle into 4th or 5th. If we're healthy and Bryz is on his game, we can beat the Pens though, even with Crosby in the mix. Last season, we took the series 4-1-1 with 3 of those wins against Crosby. This season we're 2-1 so far and I feel we have a better team this year with more depth at every position.

heh.. jvr, voracek, and jagr are all hurt though.. granted i think voracek/jagr line up at RW, i feel like its probably not that difficult to go between LW/RW

and it sounds kinda like jagr might play, and if he doesn't schenn is gunna play RW on the top line and talbot or read will probably center the 3rd line
