Erie would be perfect for an NHL team as they already support both the Pens and Sabres. They have a perfect parade route for the champs and even a five star Olive Garden on Peach Street to have a banquet in afterwards. Quite frankly, I cannot believe Erie doesn't have a team yet as it clearly offers much more than most current NHL cities can offer.
