For everything a father does

For buying me that first glove

For telling me about Willie Mays in his best days

For taking me to my first game

For signing me up to Little League

For cheering for me even as the ump yells strike three

For teaching me how to bunt...it really kept me in the hunt

For hitting me ground balls in the backyard

For paying for that window I broke when I hit it so hard

For the encouragement when things went bad

For the pat on the back when I made a diving catch

For everything a Father does

For everything is done for the sake of love

For my Dad who gave me a good life
