Here it is, the day we’ve been looking forward to for several months now.

Will you be watching it tonight at home (I assume that’s the majority of us) or with friends or at a bar? Any special traditions you might have? What are you hoping happens with the first 11 picks? Want us to trade up? trade down? Stay where we are?

My mom and dad are on Texas so I am going back home to watch it with my brother at their house. Keeping the tradition alive at the place I watched most of my childhood drafts from. Sorta like watching it at Bed and Breakfast, you know. Just a familiar one. Got the entire house to myself. Was going to stay home and watch it at my own place but my brother really wants me to come watch it with him.

Traditions? Get snacks, eat something and a non tradition of hurting my lower back has happened this year. I prefer a trade down this year but I am very open minded when it comes to the draft. Never 100% all in on one thing. Feels like when I REALLY want a player in Round 1 he ends up on the board and we pass anyway, so I have learned to be open minded. (Ed Reed, Ceedee Lamb a few examples).. I shouldn't complain because we did draft Patrick Surtain and my biggest draft day surprise I would have never expected, Marvin Mims.

Option 1- Trade down and get Nix and pick up the 2nd rounder
Option 2- BPA

On my way home from work I'll be stopping at the pet store for a couple of those braided bully sticks - so the boys will be occupied and busy during the three or four hours of the draft ..

If Bowers is there at 12, I hope we don't trade out of the pick .. A trade down is what I expect though ...

If we end up with a guy whose first or last name is "Cooper", I'll be happy

Have to fix some irrigation issues at my Dad's place/fields on Friday morning since they are out of town which is about 2 hours from my place so going over there tonight in order to be able to enjoy the draft solo. Will also have the Nugs game on when it starts. Busy night.

A buddy of mine is guest bartending at a joint by my work, so I am hitting and running and heading straight home before the draft starts. Only tradition I have is to take a shot when the Broncos pick (or trade back). I am hoping we trade down. Not sure if I want us to end up grabbing Nix or Penix or picks for next year.
