Happy Birthday America

[Band of Brothers]

Here is some joy for you today. It's the 4th of July and the hot dogs are hot and the beer is ice cold. The Giants are in the thick of a pennant race against the hated Dodgers. There is sunshine and smiles plenty enough to go around for us all. We have the opportunity to sit and watch baseball in peace because of the sacrifices of the brave. There is the high five that connects us all during the winning rally. There is the kiss cam where newlyweds and oldyweds show their love and some that should get a room. It's a foul ball that a 12 yr old kid snags with his first baseman glove and the grown man who makes a bare handed catch with a baby in the other arm.

It's BBQ's and friends and the fun never seems to end. It's the little girl with a pink Posey jersey on and a orange bow in her hair. It's sitting in your seat offering some peanuts to your neighbor and striking up a conversation about seasons past. Finally it's all about feeling loose and alive hoping for a win as the sun goes down.
