Monday, October 15th, 2007. A day that will live in infamy. It started like any other day. We were all still on fire from the Oklahoma St 45-14 debacle. Then around noon the skies opened up for glorious sun to shine, the birds started to sing a little louder, and the good word started to swirl. Nebraska was going to be given a chancellor's pardon from their death row sentence. Text messages were flying and phone calls were being feverishly being made. The rumors got louder and louder. Then the news that our dreams were coming true were confirmed. STEVE PEDERSON IS FIRED!!!!! I will never forget that euphoric day from noon on and basically being on my phone nonstop for about 10.5 hours. This day will forever be celebrated as Husker Nation's Independence Day. God bless our freedom from that DICKtator!!!!

now this is a good time to respond. jed and i can truly appreciate this day. remember, of the people who came to this board in dec 2009-jan 2010, we are the ONLY people who demanded pedey boy's firing from the beginning. we are the ONLY people who came to this board in dec 2009-jan 2010 who were publically outraged by coach solich's firing and billy c's hiring. although we always wanted the program to do well, we are the ONLY people who came to this board in dec 2009-jan 2010 who knew pedey boy and billy c were gravitating the program toward mediocrity. we were the ONLY people who stood our ground against the massive onslaught of criticism by those who considered themselves "the true fans of the program".
before i go further, i should add a disclaimer. anyone who came to this board after jan 2010, this post is not directed to you. there are 3 exceptions to the dec 2009- jan 2010 group. thats tomhusker, irishjay and landon. they were never part of the pedey pullers. oh yeah...i guess exorbitant is an exception as well. that's only because he is an exception to everything.
the pedey pullers are clearly brasky, jjm, redalert, iruletheskool and their buddies. the fact that they want to pretend they were against pedey and pro-coach solich is inevitable since they always want to portray themselves as having some sort of insight and for their own sake they need to be right. if they were just passive, benign or neutral in their position, that would be one thing. to try to claim they were upset from the beginning that coach solich was fired and billy c stayed as long as he did is another. again, they were not passive, benign and neutral. brasky, jjm, redalert and iruletheskool and their buddies were loud, obnoxious, relentless and obsessive in their dislike of jed and i's position. they said some of the most immature and rude comments toward jed and myself. i'm going to take the time again to reiterate that the pedey pullers were brasky, jjm, realert, iruletheskool and their buddies. tomhusker, irishjay and landon were not. oh yeah...and neither was exorbitant. i recall when jjm and redalert and their buddies in particular had this huger boycrush than their normal boycrush for billy c for bringing sam keller in. i told them that he wasn't the right choice (for reasons too long to mention here) and joe ganz was. they just wouldn't stop trying to keep joe ganz down and lift up keller. how did that work out for you boys?
again, the ONLY people who can claim (with the exception of tomhusker, irishjay and landon. oh yeah......exorbitant too) they puked in their mouth when coach solich was fired and billy c was hired is jed and myself. brasky, jjm, redalert and iruletheskool couldn't push each other aside quick enough to see who could be the first to eat the nuts out of pedey's shit and give billy c a diekman. happy pedey is fired day!!!!
