Yeah, it looks really really good. Seen some multiplayer footage that looks promising as well. That's needed a boost imo because its sort of become stale since H3 (really H2 which was the best)

Only played a couple of games so far but very unimpressed and it plays more like a cod. I'll give it more time and still haven't gotten into the campaign but so far not a fan... from the previews I wasn't thinking it'd live up to halo 3.

Is it like COD in that it gives you weapons/armor upgrades with level status? I hate that shit. Makes it unplayable for a casual guy like myself because I never stand a chance.

See, that actually makes it more interesting to me. I hated the previous systems Halo used because you could never compete with the people who spent 200 hours on the game.

This looks cool. It reminds me of Resident Evil 4, though, in that its a great game coming out on a system that already lost the console war.

After seeing some reviews I'm not impressed. People are saying on Normal the campaign only lasts like 4.5 hours

That's crazy short -- and it's not even that great of a story. The multiplayer seems to be OK but the maps look bland.

That's crazy short -- and it's not even that great of a story. The multiplayer seems to be OK but the maps look bland.

Maps are not only bland but there is not enough of them and Halo has this nasty habit of giving you the same map 3-4 times in a row (no joke). I've played 40-50 matches online and have yet to get some of the maps yet have played a certain 3 about 70% of the time.

Also it's missing some key game modes and forge doesn't drop until december
