Hall of Fame Broncos

Tonight we will find out how many of the 4 Broncos that made the finalist (Champ Bailey, John Lynch, Steve Atwater, and Pat Bowlen) list will make the Hall of Fame. I am guessing Champ and Pat make the Hall this year. It would be wonderful if Atwater went in with them, but I don't see it happening, sadly.

I do hope that this is enough that we are able to play the Hall of Fame game. That extra wee of practice with the new staff would be really useful and could mean a lot.

Good luck to all 4 as I believe all 4 are deserving.

Happy for Champ and Bowlen as both more than deserving of such an honor. Little disappointed that a guy like Ty Law gets in over Steve Atwater. Just doesn't feel right at all. East Coast bias I guess although one could say he technically was a Bronco since he did play for them for a second.

I think 3 Broncos in the same year was going to be tough. Atwater deserves it if ty law is in. I watch some of the nomination meetings and those writers are not very compelling .

Easy to see that writers are not great at the public speaking arena. Not a fan of Jeff Legwold being the guy that represents the Bronco players. There are others in the media that have shown they can get before a crowd and actually present something with enthusiasm and facts.

There is talk that next year they will allow the biggest HOF class ever. We are talking possibly 25 new inductees so could help with the backlog at some positions and help the Broncos finally get in a couple of deserving guys.

could also mean though a couple of people who get in that honestly probably don't deserve to be in,. I'm hoping more for the positions that have fewer representatives to get in such as some of the interior OL players and the safety position.

I know I should just be happy about Bailey and Bowlen. And I really am. How they passed on Atwater...? That’s a crime and a big part of why I completely dismiss the HOF selection process. And that’s great that they’re expanding the class for next year. At this point whatever it takes to get the Broncos the inductees this premier franchise deserves. But at the same time it’s criminal it’s going to take an expanded class to get guys like Atwater and Gradishar in.

Great news to have Champ and Bowlen inducted into the HOF. Champ Bailey was an artist - the best pass defender - the best tackler - the best guy to have the ball taking it the other way. How fortunate for us Bronco fans to have seen a large portion of his career.

Pat Bowlen - brought a level of excellence to the Bronco operations - that has become NFL lore. So fortunate here - as well - to have had such a great team owner.

Atwater - in particular was gypped.

I can remember years ago going to Canton and buying Champ Bailey's Bronco jersey when he was first traded to Denver. Now he is getting inducted.
