Guess we can change this up a bit.... Which of these two TEs is the better blocker?
Who the fuck cares? And Kelce graded better for most of the year, IIRC. The equivalent of arguing over who can get more pancakes that have nothing to do with the play on the OL.

No- it's a stupid talking point which is like 5% of the respective players' value.

How is it a stupid talking point? It plays into the quality of the player imo. I just asked a question. At this point it is Kelce who is better, just asking

If it's beyond tertiary, we're getting into stupid territory. Just my two cents on it. We're clearly not talking about JAG level TE2s.

Fair enough

I take it you're going to be rooting for the Rams?

Prob. take Kelce going forward just because injuries just seem so frequent with Gronk. When both are 100% healthy, I'll take Gronkowski. This debate is brought up often and it's an interesting one. Which player would you have rather had if they stayed healthy? End of day outside that question the nod ultimately goes to the guy that was most reliable and on the field.

Gronkowski had the luxury of Tom Brady as the best QB in NFL history and Belichick throughout his career. That said, Alex Smith certainly wasn't a slouch and Andy Reid understands West Coast offense (utilizes a TE frequently) as good as anyone in NFL history, which he still employs with the Chiefs. So it can be argued both tight ends were placed in ideal team situations.

Career - Too early to tell but at the RATE we're going, Kelce looks like the front runner.

For example, if anyone tried to argue CAREER wise Gronk > Gonzalez (right now) I'd say fuck off.

Crazy to compare the 2 honestly. Injuries have hurt Gronk the last few years, and he is a meathead, but by far the better player.

It is crazy. Gronk has basically double the mileage.

Not to mention I can't remember the last time I saw him on the field when he did not look like the winter solider.

All the extra playoff games Gronk has to play in year in and year out have taken its toll.

For Gronk's sake I wish they could just lose once in a while.
