They aren't doing it to be haters, it started as "hey cool I just threw X player a beer and he chugged it!" But too many people started doing it and it got dangerous with hundreds of flying full beer cans.

The cops put out a statement saying not to throw them at the Pats parade but obviously some dipchits still did.
