He would be exactly the same as Gronk, if he would catch 30 more balls, score 12 more touchdowns, have a HOF quarterback and the best coach in the game. It's really not that big of a stretch.

"Jermaine wants to be mentioned with (Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham)," Gruden said. "His goal in his mind is to put up those kinds of numbers. He doesn't understand blocking is important, too. We need to stay with what we do. Don’t get caught up in statistics. If we win, who cares?"

Well I guess we can expect him to be used minimally again this season.

Didn't take long for Gruden to be Bengalized, eh?

If Hugh is promoted to OC Gresham could have a season like that.....He will have more downfield throws in the offense....

He is a glorified WR, and 95% of all WRs are primadonas.

I don't see it as that at all. This is his 3rd year now? He hasn't said a peep until now, and I still don't see that he's said anything. With as much talent as he has, watching Gronk and Graham light it up, you can't blame him for wanting in on the action. Furthermore, you could just as easily make the argument that reading between the lines, it sounds like he's got a fire in his belly and is motivated to play well.

We've been plastered with prima-donna in this town, I think its just a knee-jerk reaction.

I like Gresham. I think he could be really good - He seems to have all the athletic tools and is a better blocker than advertised (given that he didn't have to do it at Oklahoma). All that said, we really don't use him very much and we're really not much different at all when he is hurt. Unfortunately I don't expect that to change.

The quote you referenced earlier in thread:

Again, I'm admittedly reading between the lines.

I remember him throwing a tantrum on the sidelines his rookie season against Tampa Bay too. I was suprised at the time.

Sure part of his job is blocking, but if a main part of the gameplan offensively doesn't include his running the seam five or six times a game then why in the hell did they bother drafting him?
