The Rams are the Lions of the NFC West.

In my life time the Lions have made the playoffs 8 times and have not won a single postseason game.

The Rams have been to the SB thrice and won one.

At best, you might be able to say the Cards are the Lions of the NFC West, but even AZ has been to a SB in my lifetime.

ebron wants a big contract? I didnt read that. He was on a 2 yr 13million contract with indy after busting in Detroit. He also face planted last season

He was very good the year prior when he was healthy and had a QB. Last year, backup QB and not healthy. That's the risk with Ebron; he can't stay healthy (much like Olsen).

I'm glad the Bills didn't sign Olsen. It was bad enough they had oft-injured Kroft blocking their two rookie TEs from playing time last year (hopefully they cut him this offseason). The kids were much more reliable and bigger threats in the passing game than Kroft, even when healthy.

if they ever go 0-16, then I will accept this title. but until then the Lions can not be replicated

Somewhere, the Browns are wondering what they have to do to get noticed and the Bucs are complaining that they needed a longer season.

Eh doesn't hurt... although hurt is relative since there's a good chance him, Dissly, or Hollister will be hurt next year... lol.

Still, 1 year 7M with really no long term risk is fine. Seahawks have a ton of cap this year, and Wilson is a far better QB than Newton.

Not getting my hopes up but why not? B signing. If Olsen was 30 I'd give it an A+ but this can hardly be considered a 'prove it' contract. Buffalo/Washington are likely not winning the Super Bowl next year, so Seattle (only other team interested) was his best shot. That's clearly what Olsen is signing up for at the moment. A final shot at a Super Bowl... and Seattle had a decent shot of getting there if half their OLINE and all their RBs weren't out for the 9ers (division win/bye chance) and playoffs.

He can still play...the question is can he stay healthy.

Good pick up.

I like the pick up, but where are the Hawks at with resigning their linemen? Need to keep enough cash to stay consistent (with an improved pass rush) there.

I would say I'm whelmed by this move. $5.5 mil seems like more then it should but who knows what the FA market its gonna be. They basically just need insurance at the position

Underestimate? He basically eclipsed Dissly's entire career over the last 4 games of last season.

People haven't caught on to Higbee yet, they laughed when he signed an extension. The guy is a better blocker than a receiver and killed it in the second half of the season catching the ball. No TE had more 100 yard receiving games than him.

He'll be a good mix with the young guy's, it's only a 1 year deal so it's cool .. He's definitely a good player even at 34 ...

Stop comparing 3-legged dogs to 2-legged dogs. They are all slapdicks
