Not true, I bet he could have ran with Jesse Owens in 36.

*sigh*

It's like you don't even know about guys who run fast.

Owens was 8.46
Castillo - 5.41
Portridge - 6.03
Halliburton - 5.78
Fritz - 5.92
O'Rielly - 6.11
McMadethisup - 2.17

Try googling it.

Fastest Seahawk Michael Bates in lane one, a terrible lane for a 200m.

Didn't Joey Galloway run a 10.35 in the 100m dash? We all know about his 4.18 40 that he said he could get to 4.08 with just a little practice.

Just like what happened to DK in his run down of Buda Baker he starts to try and "muscle" more speed out of himself and it slows him down. Watch it in his chase down of Baker and watch it in his 100m sprint. When you start trying to Push harder, Swing faster you actually slow down. With some practice I think he can get to 10.10 easy. But I do not care if he ever runs a 100 yard dash again on the track because I want to see it on the football field :)

6 foot 3 and 230+ pounds and 10.36 100 meter dash! That should be illegal!

"Some people" seem to think DK somehow embarrassed himself, which is just plain ridiculous. He did a fine job all things considered.

Glad it is over. Now back to football.

I have no doubts if every NFL player ran the 100m DK would be top 10 and most likely top 5 and 100% he would be the biggest in that top group.

He embarrashed football not himself, now all those like most hee who don't get this track/football thing think NFLers are 10.36 guye and they never have been.

Yes a 10.36 for a guy his size is great!

Bates' play on Mel Gray is one of the forgotten amazing plays in Seahawks history.

Yep, way too much bulk to haul 100m, but, he was in the mix around 40ish.

The track world is shocked most had him around maybe 10.6ish.

Obvously at around 215ish.....10.2ish, but....those pro sprinters are running 9.95ish.

I was predicting 10.38 seconds. I figured that he would at least be a little faster than the fastest woman ever, Flo Jo at 10.49 seconds.

That 10.49 is fiction, nobody in the track world accepting it. Yep, windy.

Check out the hair blowing, the numbers blowing.

10, 6ish the fastest a female has ran.

Jesse Owens would probably run under 10 seconds today on a modern track considering that he was running on cinder tracks and no starting blocks back in 1936.

Yeah, her next fastest time was like 10.6. Still, I figured that DK would be faster than the questionable 10.49 Flo Jo time considering that he is a powerful man and a freak of a physical specimen.

He ran a 10.2 which is a 10.44 elect on dirt tracks as just a college guy, at 27ish on these tracks today, 9,97ish.

Yes he is a freak and i can't think of another 235 pounder running faster.

Add in modern training, modern nutrition, and subtract cigarettes, and Owens is a 9.7 guy.

Yeah, being a freak of a physical specimen and being a man, he's able to generate so much more power than even the greatest woman sprinter, so I figured he'd have a time faster than the women's record.
