Seahawks received a "D" to "F" grade for their 2012 draft... That draft netted us Bruce Irvin (still starting in the league), Bobby Wagner, Russell Wilson, Turbin, JR Sweezy (still starting in the league)...

We only have (2) potential HOF's in that draft... Look at what was said about Carroll and RW:

Great example of why you for your own opinions and don't listen to the media... RW "by far the worst move of the draft?" LMAO...

Clearly the idiot that wrote those words had no idea what kind of qb Wilson is or what carrolls offense is.

lolol. Admittedly I did not like the Wilson selection. He grew on me a bit after watching some of his interviews with Penis Face Gruden, but yah.... gotta eat crow on that.

I did like the Irvin selection and I LOVED the Wagner pick. I'll never forget douche nozzle Kiper giving Seattle a fairly horrible grade because they 'missed out on their guy' KENDRICKS who the Eagles took right before and Wagner was a PANIC selection.... AFTER HE GRADED WAGNER HIGHER EARLIER IN THE DAY. What a fuckhead.

NFL teams get it wrong quite a bit. Only about a 50% hit rate in the 1st round, and it goes down sharply from there. Getting it right at QB & WR seems to be particularly difficult.

I feel the measure of a good draft class is to get 2 high quality starters. The 2012 draft produced 2 HOF players, 1 high quality starter (Irvin), 1 solid starter (Sweezy), and 2 very good role players (Turbin, Lane). Great draft.

There were a lot of people that had no idea what Wilson could be. There are also a lot of people who over value certain picks. Hell, Brady was a 6th rounder. None of these so-called experts really know for sure. It's a guessing game at best and about a 50/50 shot at getting it right. Easy to look back in hindsight. Impossible to predict the future.

I have a strong feeling that grade was given by that idiot who has worked for CBS sports for years. Prisco or whatever his name is.

Yeah the experts do occasionally get it wrong but they have been pretty solid we caught heat for drafting Penny and looking at him now I cant help but think bust when I see him. They gave him the ball 1 time for a fumble against the 49ers. That's our 1st round pick and LJ Collier cant even make it to the roster to play on sundays as a healthy scratch

Penny is a bust mostly because he keeps getting nagging injuries and he has a Carson in front of him.

Penny fumbling one time is a weird criticism for him given that Carson has 6 fumbles this season.

eh I mean fumbled 6 and lost 4 of them after touching the ball 227x and Penny fumbled and lost it on 7 touches.

70 touches. Penny has had 1 fumble in 70 touches this year.
