Got to see a couple of Sox games at Camelback Ranch

Sorry no pics, but lots of fireworks!!! Our boys must like the desert air. 9 runs yesterday against the Brewers, 15 today against the Angels. The park didn't sell out either day, and sad to say there were probably as many Brewer fans as there were for the Sox and today there was almost undoubtedly more Angel fans, altho this one is a bit more understandable, being the Angels are right next door to Arizona, so it's easier for their fans to make the trip.

Keep an eye out for this kid, Daniel Mendick. Plays 2b/3b. Good D, solid swing, nice and compact. Cracked a HR yesterday that broke open the game. Probably won't make the trip north, but maybe with a little luck he'll get a call up sometime this summer.

Correction, actually caught the Sox game at the Angels park - sorry got caught up in the excitement of seeing two wins!! LOL,. I was menating to change the title of the thread, but started typing away and forgot. BTW, both fields are nice, but I'll take Camelback over Diablo.
