Ever the optimist I like Gophers chance to get the Tourney

    Keys:

Coffey to be player we think he can be
    Jordan Murphy be a beast
Washington to realize he's not playing street ball

    freshman class contributes

    2-0

I haven't been able to pay attention. How's their depth this year?

Should be much better than last year. All 3 incoming freshman have already contributed, one is a starter.

The main questions are going to be if they can stay healthy and can avoid having their mug shots taken.

If it wasn't for them, the weekend would've been a total bust.

    Wolves lose
Wild lose to the Sabres and Blackhawks...

and... the Vikings laid an egg.

    Ugly win last night

Kalscheur is already one of our best players, nice to have a true freshman that can shoot. He'll be a good one

The PG spot is a problem. Washington still hasn't figured out he's not playing street ball

Everyone not named Gabe shot horribly last night vs a team that isn't any good

Biggest test on their pre-season schedule, tonight. Good news is, Washington played after the Gophers last night.

It's not Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas, but 3 power conference wins in the first 5 games is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to building their resume for March.

Did not look good vs Ohio State. I'll be at Nebraska game and hoping for improved performance.

Nice win vs Nebraska. Game was looking ugly at times and our defense was a bit frustrating

Amir Coffey took over down stretch.

Tim Miles had his team wearing shirts to honor Dupree mom who recently passed away, nice gesture.

7-2, with 4 cream puffs coming up. Should be 11-2, I think 21 wins gets us dancing

    That was an exciting finish!

If they can take care of the home court... (yeah, same refrain every year) and the games they should win.... dancing shouldn't be a problem.

Very good to see Coffey kicking arse. He needs to come to realize just how good he is. I mean, we beat a Top 25 ranked team on the road with our #1 player scoring only 5 and fouling out with 5 minutes left?

IW needs to take over the PG position. If he does, we'll be SO much better. He needs to dish, and dish and dish some more.
