Coming in: PF-C Jacob Hammond, PG Tarin Smith
Key Riser: Tai Webster -- He came in as a freshman with a good amount of hype, but it took him time to adjust. Look for the New Zealander to be far more effective and consistent as a sophomore.
Analysis: Tim Miles led Nebraska to the NCAA tournament -- and the lone key departure is Gallegos, who averaged 7.3 points. Petteway is one of the top returnees in the league.
Summer Buzz: After taking transfer big man Moses Ayegba (Georgetown), the Cornhuskers have two scholarships left and would like to grab a big man and a guard. The bigs include Henry Ellenson, Alex Illikainen, Ed Morrow and Kevin Puryear. The point guards are Nick Rogers, Glynn Watson and Kevin Dorsey. Nebraska is also looking at wing Jimmy Whitt out of Missouri."
