I witnessed it at the Maryland game as well...Wv fan's taunting the Terp fans through the second quarter all the way thru halftime..but found a way to disappear when the Terps came back to tie the game...we have some really great fans and then we have clearly the fans that foster the stigma...

My son and I were texting during the game. He said that some kids were talking about rioting by going to Medical and torching a PRT car if we should win. I told him that I wished the students could win with class and that we already have a bad reputation. The thing that made me happy was that he said that if we should win, he was going back to his room and not "engaging in the stupid stuff anyone else is doing". He did mention that some of the Frats were talking to OU fans in the lot, offering hamburgers, hot dogs, and beer.

It was just bad....they were taunting parents and their kids...if you taunt have the guts to taunt the masses that will give it to you right back....

Im ok with a lil smack talk to a point but I have had enough of the over the top stuff. Life is just better when we wow people with our hospitality as West Virginians, it comes naturally.

Now this is the kind of stuff that makes me proud to be a Mountaineer fan, and honestly, I think we are only gonna get better in time.

The only incident I witnessed the entire day occurred in the Dairy Mart when I was buying beer to take to the tailgates. There was one OU fan going back and forth with a college kid. The OU fan was pretty aggressive and got in the face of the kid... who promptly pushed him away. Another kid told the WVU fan to calm down... and nothing more happened.

I tailgated with OU fans, saw OU fans all across the lots... having a good time. We had OU fans sitting behind us and in front of us... nobody harassed them. We engaged them a little.

But, I saw nothing ugly.
