Just wanted to let you know that I'm gonna be away from my computer for several days..... driving to Pittsburgh to be with my mom while she has another surgery. So, I won't be doing my usual updates in a couple of threads until I return.

Thanks much for all the good wishes. I really do appreciate them. (If Mom had a computer, she would be touched by your messages.)

She came through the surgery surprisingly well at 93. She was discharged from the hospital the day after surgery and is now rehabbing at the nursing facility in the retirement village where she lives. It appears that she'll be back in her "independent living" apartment by the end of the week. She's doing well enough that I drove back to Virginia today.

I've updated the W-L guess thread. Unfortunately, the Pirates have not reached another milestone..... so no update there.
