Man, there are no winners in this situation at this point. I think Watson is a top 8 QB maybe top 5 but...you can't do this to a team. They already fired the coach. They already paid you. You're ahead of 95% of the players in the league in terms of leverage just with that alone. You're not a running back or a wide receiver. You're a franchise QB. You only get a protest if these guys are doing something illegal or immoral imo.

I don't know what these protest organizers think they are accomplishing with this. It's just not a smart move and only will create other problems, imo. I can understand their frustration but this is a really bad idea, imo. Players come and go, even franchise faces. It's only sports.
Of course, I do remember many years ago when a certain businessman in Edmonton, Alberta was in financial dire straits in some of his businesses so he sold the greatest hockey player in the world for a boatload of cash. There was a trade in there too but the fans were really pissed for a long time. I believe the owner even had a few death threats if memory serves.
