What would you guys think about going after him this off season? I believe he is a FA.

Mario Manningham I believe is a FA(I'd let him walk) so the money were getting off the books for him, we could offer that to Golden Tate. ( 3mil a yr I believe)

Tate would solve our return man issues and he's solid, tough football player. Plus it would weaken the Seahawks if we could get him.

He is but he will be coming of an ACL injury

Yes, which will probably make him cheaper. He could be a great slot receiver for us and gives us the speed we have never had

I think Golden Tate is a great 3rd, but he's not even a primary starter on his own team with Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice there. I'd rather sign Anquan back on a two year deal. Tate's going to want alot more than 3mill a year anyway and we can't afford that with so many of our guys having contracts up. I think Anquan is definitely at the point where winning is more important than money and he'll take similar money that he makes now or maybe a little less. That guy has saved our season and this team. We seriously might have had a Mike Singletary/Mike Nolan type of offense without Anquan this year.

I think Tate will want to get paid. I think he's a very good #2 receiver and a great returner. I don't like the guy, but he's got a skill set we could use. I just don't think it's worth the money he'll end up getting. That said, we need to draft at least two WRs in the first four rounds this year IMO. At least one with speed, and ideally one with size.

I think MM might be gone after this year. Unless he signs for cheap again like he reworked his deal.

How much do you guys think he's going to get? I thought in the 3-4 million a yr range is what he'll get, based on I view him in the same category as Mario Manningham but a little bit better and can offer a little more.

I don't think he's worth more than the 3-4 mill you mentioned, but he's going to want double that and I think some team will give it to him.
